He smirked at his sister's hatred. Ah, but I had to leave you. I knew you'd make it. Always were strong, both you and I. We both took after our father in strength... I took 'im in mind. Optics stared at nothing in thought. He was the splitting image of his father. Lakota was that of their mother. But they both matched in strength.

You sicken me, she spat. You promised you'd stick with me! I had to go through tretcherous winters, scortching summers... all alone barley a yearling. I fear for the fae you find, if you act so much like ourfather. You'll end up killing 'er in the end.

At this, he could stand her no more. He charged her, rearing high. He came down apon her dial, knocking her down.
I'll never kill those who do not oppose me!

She stood, baring 'er ivories, lambrums melted to 'er skull. Crimson rolled from a wound below 'er lamrums. She reared, slightly smaller than he, and slashed at 'im with 'er hooves. She fe;t she had collided with something, and landed, crania latched over 'er throat in a defensive way.

Hardy cannons launched 'im skyward, flints slashing the air like blades. 'E brought 'is fore-granites to earth forcefully, shouldering 'is way between the dueling siblings.
Enough! 'E bellowed, the deep rumble sending a tremor down 'is jugular. Thou hast no honor to strike a fae as such. 'E looked down 'is regal roman nose at the dark stag, for 'e stood much taller than the shameless creature.

Lakota flinched at D'Artagnan's actions. She backed up, head low at the two stallions. Auds bared and lamrums melted at the sight of Goldrush, but when gazed apon D'Artagnan, she looked away. She felt shamed in a way. Once again, she did not want to see disappointment in his eyes. Tiny pools of aqua formed in her orbics as she turned away, keeping her guard up if Goldrush decided to strike. Though he'd be foolish to do so.

Goldrush, always a fighter, reared high at the stag. Nares flared, he threatend him. No one told him what to do. His actions were his. He landed, yet rearing once more, a single, spine-chilling call of disgust and hatred.

Lakota whipped around, awaiting D'Artagnan's actions. If he did not strike back, she would. She may be Light, but she was a stong fighter, as her mother had been. She always defended her friends, but did not know if D'Artagnan would allow it. For the first time, she'd been torn. Was she to fight her brother, possibly defeating him and loosing D'Artagnan's trust in her, or stay back, being ridiculed as she had been since the moment Goldrush had left her? She was brought back by confusion, and did not know which to follow. And not for the first time, she was afraid.

'Is better judgement told 'im not to fight, but 'e knew that there was only one way to deal with a stag like this.
Lakota, stay back. 'E warned, knowing full well that the fae would be compelled to intervene. Though 'is alignment would indicate a peaceful demeanor, 'e 'ad battled many times and knew what to expect.
'Pon the dark's most recent rear, 'e launched forward, shoulder slamming into the underbelly and sending the dark backwards. 'E gave 'im another shove for good measure before stepping back to observe, knowing the brute would likely fall over backwards.
((notice the lack of powerplaying, I did not even cause you to fall without your consent))

((OOC: Yes, thank you D'Artagnan. Many wouldn't do that. I appreciate it.)) He stumbled backwards, landing hard apon the ground. He then stood, dial shaking. She then charged D'Artagnan, rearing high at him, slashing his flints about the air. Unknowing if he'd hit the stag, he landed, quickly backing up to see if he had done so.

Lakota stayed back. She wanted to teach her brother a lesson. She felt it painful to call him kin for what he'd done. But she remained where she was, D'Artagnan's demanding voice cutting through her like an arrow. She watched Goldrush go down, and she felt satisfied in a way, put when he got up and began to slash at D'Artagnan, she began to charge. But she stopped herself. She did not want to interfere. And D'Artagnan could take Goldrush. The stallion she wished not to call her kin would most definatly fall and possibly parish under D'Artagnan's flints if he wished it.

'Is thick crest took a few blows, which rolled off 'is bulk harmlessly, the brief sting fading before the opposing stag could come to a halt. 'E charged, snorting viciously as 'e bore down on the offending stag like a freight train. Taking advantage of 'is superior height and build, 'e slammed 'is mass 'gainst the dark, spinning 'pon fore-flints to lash out with 'is hind. 'E stepped back to survey the damage, keeping a wary eye on Lakota lest she stir.

Lakota watched D'Artagnan plow into Goldrush. Emotions swirling about her, she did not know how to feel. Angry at her brother, and D'Artagnan for hurting at him, fear for injury of D'Artagnan... She did not know what to do at all. She wanted to stop the two stallions. 'Twas all too much...

Goldrush flew through the air, landing heavily apon the earth. Pain engulfed his crania, as well as his lef fore-pillar, which had stricken the emeralds in an odd angle. He screamed out, knowing the weakness he showed. He winced, unable to see, then heard a strange rushing noise throughout his crania. Fatigue clouded him. He wished to stand, but found it impossible. He looked to Lakota.
Your... fault... he managed to speak, studdering, gasping for air. His small stature could not take the blow from the other stag.

Casia three beated in her banner flowing and pillars carried high. She stood on the cliff above the beach and looked down upon the others. She knew this was where most of them came together. Gentle eyes scanned over the equids below, optics strained to see the sdistant figures. She came down another level and saw the three, D'art, Gold, and Lakota. She had heard of the story about Gold and his sister Lakota, but she didnt believe it was to harm his sister. She watched as D'art plowed him down ahe became frightened. A shrill whiny pierced the air as he went down. she pushed off with hind pillars sending her quickly to the stag. she nudged him, and then looked to D'art.-What is this foolishness?
