Placing 'er muzzle apon D'Artagnan's nape, she relaxed. Auds lurched in Sinistra's way. She wished to speak to 'er, but was too uneasy at the moment.

A smirk placed apon his mug. Ah, the ashen faen was foolish. He did not reply to her, but simply gazed at D'Artagnan. He knew the stag was of no threat to him. He travelled towards them, then stopped a few feet away from the terrified faen and stag.

Lakota bared 'er ivories at the stallion, lambrums melting into 'er skull. Not one was to think of D'Artagnan as such. Nor any of 'er other friends. Once she made a friend, that was a friend for life, whom she'd protect with 'er life, even if the foe was twice 'er size. If looked apon close enough, 'er shadowed life afflicted many scars apon 'er small bodice.

She turned 'er venomous stare to the brute.
Foolish, am I? What of mine actions doth transmit such an image? she spat.

His gaze turned to the faen. His wild smirk did not erase from his maw, but simply grew wider.

Snort of disdain escaped 'im. This stag was not worth 'is time. 'E wandered into the surf once more, though 'e kept a mistrustful eye on the dark. 'E waited for Lakota to follow as 'e picked up a gentle pace, carrying 'im far from the displeasing company.

Lakota hurried into the surf beside D'Artagnan. But should she tell him? Both Goldrush and Lakota knew so well why he had come apon 'er 'ere.

Why dost thou mock me so? 'er cold lyrics broke, giving way to a milder tone. Nearly silent was 'er speech that followed, only one listening closely could catch them. Why doth the world mock me, have I not felt enough?

He snorted, giving a warning call to D'Artagnan that came deep within his Darkened heart. No one turned from him. Auds melted into his crania, ivories, (is that it? lol), bearing. His left fore-pillar stomped in a challange. But as the ashen fae spoke, his auds pricked slightly, ivories not bared anymore. A slight shot of suprise filled the corners of his optics as he heard her soft, sad tunes. A deep feling tugged at his heart. Though a Dark, he felt sorrow for those who had no one, yet still had the sense to rip lovers apart. Truely, he was still battling the sides wiithin him, though he had declared himself a Dark.

'Is dial tossed haughtily, 'e cast another glance to the offending stag. Sensing that the dark was no threat, and if 'e chose to be such would not last for long, 'is aud did not even bother to flatten. 'E protectively placed 'is maw 'pon Lakota's spine, occuli surveying guardedly.

Auds still pinned at the stag, ivories showed no more as D'Artaganan placed 'is maw apon 'er spine, pelt tingling at his touch as it had before. Her auds lifted slightly, feeling comforted by 'im.
But she wished that the stag whom she knew so well before would leave. And she could not hold it back any longer.
Get away from 'ere, Goldrush. You deserted me after you said you would help me.
She turned to D'Artagnan.
'E... 'E... 'E... 'E is my brother. She struggled to say this. She dropped 'er crania.
'E promised to take care of me, because when our mother deserted us, 'er orbics saddened at the memories, but then told me 'e would be right back... I watched 'im smirk as 'e left me. I knew from that moment I was to be alone for the rest of my young life...

'Tis a terrible thing to have to bear. 'E said solemnly. Thou differs greatly from thy kin, 'e is spineless. An angry glint burned deep within 'im, though 'e dared not harm the dark now that 'e knew of 'is relation to the maiden.

She shot Goldrush a look of pure hate. She 'ad never hated anyone. And he was of 'er kin! But the things 'e had done... t'was so terrible.
