The moonless night was as dark as onyx. To try and see through it was like trying to look through a blanket. 'Twas a muggy, warm night, moisture hanging in thick bogs of fog. An unusual even for a warm night. But the darkness of the night wasn't all that made the night seem dead, but 'twas the silence, as well. Nothing moved. Nothing dare move. Nothing was heard. But suddenly, a small sound was heard. Something was coming from far off in the distance. The beating came closer, though nothing was seen. The beats were almost deafening now. But then, an abrupt cease was heard. Everything grew silent once more. But then, as suddenly as the beats stopped, a shrill scream was heard. Forte had come.

she heard the call from across the land. It amused her. Maybe she had found one as cold as herself. Her orbs were icy, and black. dainty onyx dial held many thoughts none wished to know of. Horrid thoughts of hate and death. the cry sounded the same. she parted her kissers and emitted a shrill melody in return. It seemed to pierce the muggy air like a dagger.

Thorns lurched at the call of the heesion.
Ah, one for me?
Dark thoughts flew about his crania.
Maybe not. Maybe she is a foe. If so, she shall die.
Anyone who opposed him would suffer. He knew nothing of love, only that of hate. He had murdered. Murderer of innocent, yet pathetic Lights. But the souls he hated most were the ones whom called themselves Dark, but knew nothing of Darkness. They were nothing but Lights with a lable. He seeked them out perpously. Maybe this fae was one of those Darks? She did not sound it, though. She had the scream of a demon, as he himself had.

ashamed of her calling she punished herself mentally. She did not want to sdound desperate or willing. She needed no one nor anything to help her live. Life as she had known was a dark and lonely place with none ever wanting to be with her. But she did not care. She preferred the solitude of the Darkness. She reamined in the spot where she called. She saw no movement and she herself made none.

Hearing no sounds of approaching hoof beats, he snorted angrily, pillar striking the earth in front of him. Who goes there? he called.

I could ask you the same question, lord-she said barely audible but a harsh coldness the clung to her words. She pranced daintily on her fore pillars awaiting his response. She snorted and pawed at the terra.

Thorns pinned at her disrespect.
Does thou oppose thee?
Awaiting her response, he readied himself to attack if need be.

Hearing these words, he felt enraged. But he decided, She dare oppose me? Give me no respect? Maybe she is worthy. He approached swiftly and silently, heading in the direction were her voice had called from.

He soon spotted her through the thick blackness of the night. No words were said as he slid to a stop. Orbs shifted apon her visible features. He stood much taller than her, as he did with most. He stood tall, not bowing. Bowing meant weakness.

ebon voids saw his figure. she smirked slightly.-Thou lineage be Arabian, and yet you are so very heightened?-she said it more as a statement not a question.-dost thou be pure of blood?-she asked tauntingly. She braced her body for she knew he would possibly attack.

I am of the purest blood, ess. Damed by Estasia, Sired by Shifter, brother of Goldrush and Lakota. You taunt me, so foolishly? Let me tell you this: My mother and father are dead because of me. My mother died giving birth to me. My weak siblings knew nothing of me. My father took me, giving me to a mare of his. My father trained me, and one day he taunted me so. He is dead now because of his foolish actions. Do you wish to suffer the same fate?
'Twas a test. If she backed down, surrendering herself, she would die. But if she resisted, she would be perfect. Her attitude so far was perfect, as her beauty.

Depends on how you wish to rid me of this world?-she smirked. The brute amused her.-if you wish to pound me to death then i surely would fight back as any would. I have made my way through this world alone for all my years. although not many. Many a Stag have i come across that wish to have me for his own and did I run form him you ask? no I did not I stood and fought although he backed down for, 'it is not right to fight an ess'.-she said mocking the tone of the stag.

Ah, but M'dear, I shall fight you if you decide to egg me on. If you wish to fight, then let us. If you wish not to, then I shall be on my way. Unless M'Lady would like me to stay...
'Twas also a test.
